Messiah

The 79th production of Handel’s Messiah will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at 3:00pm.

Messiah will once again be followed by our Christmas Spectacular! As is tradition, choir alumni will be an important part of our chorus for Messiah. We invited all to come out and celebrate the season with Massillon Choirs!

Tickets

Reserved seating tickets will be on sale at the WHS ticket office, dates to be announced.

Tickets will be on sale at the door the day of the performance, general admission only.

Alumni Rehearsals for the 79th Messiah (2023)

Alumni will choose at least one rehearsal, as well as the mandatory dress rehearsal.

Monday, November 20 – 6:45-7:30 – Choir Room – Full Messiah Chorus Rehearsal
Tuesday, November 28 – 6:45-7:30 – Choir Room – Full Messiah Chorus Rehearsal
Tuesday, December 5 – 6:45-7:30 – Choir Room – Full Messiah Chorus Rehearsal
Thursday, December 7 – 7:00-8:00 – Auditorium – Full piano run with procession/recession
Saturday, December 9 – 2:00-4:30 – Auditorium –  Messiah Dress Rehearsal
Sunday, December 10 – 2:00 choir call – 79th Messiah and Holiday Performance!  (performance time: 3:00)
