Dear fellow choir participants,
Your Executive Officers would like to welcome you to another wonderful year of choir! Whether you are new or old to the program, we cannot wait to make memories with you this season! You can not even begin to comprehend how much we appreciate your participation in such an excellent tradition. As you are aware, this year our choir is adding an assistant director to work with our already wonderful director, Mrs. Riley. We are all very excited to see what extraordinary successes this change will make. We are finally getting back old traditions that have since been forgone, and we are sure you are all just as enthused as we are!
To the Freshman Choir: Welcome to the WHS Choir Program! We know that this change can be frightening, however, you will come to love the program just as we have! We have very high expectations for you all that we are sure you will surpass with flying colors. Please feel free to see any of us with any questions you have, we would love to hear from you. We can not wait to work with you and we hope you will have a great year.
To the Concert Choir: Congratulations on a fabulous first year in the choral program! We would like to thank you for staying with us and meeting our high expectations! Be sure you keep your enthusiasm and strive for even higher goals. You get to participate in Messiah this year, and we hope you grow to enjoy this amazing experience. We can’t wait to see all that you will accomplish within the year!
To Advanced Choir: We have all come so far and learned so much from one another and we are very excited to learn even more! You are all, by now, aware of how important this program is to everyone and how much we value your participation. If you are a junior, you should know that you have to step up to the plate and give all that you can. Advanced Choir is all about being a leader, so enjoy your experience! And to the seniors…we did it! Well, almost! We still have the whole year to discover and grow as friends and as a choir. It is very hard to believe this is the end of our high school years together, but we are glad to be sharing it with each and every one of you. Be sure not to close your eyes, because this year will fly by in a blink. It has been so wonderful to share in such an amazing tradition and it is our time to shine. Don’t forget the memories, and don’t forget to make more!
